Balikh Medical Business Ltd. was established in 1975 under the name of Balikh Establishment.

In 1991 it grew into Balikh Medical Business Ltd. Since its establishment and it was considered as one of the leading companies in the field of health care in Saudi Arabia.

Engineer/Sami Ali Halawani became chairman and chief executive of Balikh Medical Business in 1991 and is now one of the founders and partners of the company. Eng. Sami graduated from the faculty of civil engineering from Marquette University in the USA, in 1972.He previously worked at one of the governmental departments and has many contacts in various fields and in many of the foreign embassies in Saudi Arabia.

Balikh Medical Business specializes in the retail and whole sale of medical and surgical equipment. As we represent some American and European companies that provide the best services to hospitals including The Ministry of Health hospitals, Ministry of defense, and Ministry of internal affairs. We also deal with some specialized hospitals such as The National Guard Hospital and King Faisal Specialist Hospital and several private hospitals.

Balikh represents many of the most renowned companies in the medical field all over Europe. We are holding the exclusive distributorship rights in Saudi Arabia for companies like Medi(German) ,öAmoena (German) , Julius Zorn (Juzo) (German) and Pofam(Poland)

Our company was the first to introduce burn and lymphodema garments to Saudi hospitals

Balikh’s staff is very experienced in their fields and the company insure to train the sales team so as to have knowledge of all our products. To ensure so, we arrange for our staff and selected doctors to travel abroad in order to receive medical training directly from certified manufacturers This qualifies them to aid the patients in all their needs and provide guided advice concerning the products.

By the same token, we arrange many training courses for Medi, in various Saudi hospitals in Jeddah and Riyadh and the whole eastern region. And previously we held the training courses in Dubai.

These courses are attended by doctors and physical therapists in hospitals, as we bring in officials from the companies we represent to conduct training courses on their products, especially training physical therapists on compression garments for burns and lymphedema, so that they are fully aware of all the new products and modern technology used.
